The Business Management Tools from DPC Solutions™ provide Collision Shops with the ability to better measure and better manage their businesses. The portfolio of Business Management Tools consists of the following:

The Business Analysis Tool is designed to allow collision repair shops to input their financial data and key performance indicators into a web based tool that will enable them to compare their shop to others in their group (i.e. Business Council) and to industry benchmarks. The web based Business Analysis Tool has a built in interface to ProfitNet for easy upload of key data.
The KPI Tracking Tool assesses a collision shop’s performance in four key profit centers – Parts, Labor, Paint & Materials (P&M), and Sublet. Data is collected and tracked relative to these four areas on a monthly basis. Results are then compared to relevant industry benchmarks, and corrective action plans are initiated when performance is below standard.
The Proficient Repair Analysis Tool is designed to allow collision repair shops to perform a self audit on the procedures of their repair process. Questions are answered as “never, sometimes, or always” in areas that cover body, paint, detail, safety, and maintenance. The tool provides best practice recommendations for any question where they have answered “never or sometimes”
Much like the KPI Tracking Tool, the Paint Department Optimizer™ Tool analyzes key performance indicators, but with a focus on the paint department. Areas of scrutiny include paint & material (P&M) sales, P&M costs, and P&M profitability. The optimizer also incorporates and tracks data coming from the paint scale mixing report (if scale and software is installed in the paint department). This is another benefit, in that mixing all materials via a smart scale provides another source of control for the shop.
The Booth Capacity Analyzer™ quickly calculates the shop’s spray booth sales potential, when using DPC products, compared to competitive products. Once total vehicles per day, per booth is determined, an assessment can be made as to how many more vehicles per day, per booth can be produced using DPC products.
The Paint & Material Profit Analysis tools allows shops to job cost down to the micro level of a single repair. The tools can also be used to compare job costing results of DPC products against competitive products to illustrate how profitable DPC products are to use.
